Home Committee

Our Home Committee are focussed on events and matters close to our hearts and associated with the local community

This is the committee responsible for our annual Bike Run. With 2 events already under our wing, providing thousands of pounds for locally based charities including Aberdeen Safer Community Trust, The Anthony Nolan trust (both 2005) and cash for Kids in 2006. Plans are already under way for the 2007 event.

Members also have the opportunity to assist with the Zone led Kids Out event enabling hundreds of less able children locally to engage in activities that bring a little excitement and variety to their lives.  Activities include magic shows, face painting, bouncy castles, pony riding, fire engines and police cars all bringing magical moments to young faces. 

In 2006/2007 our Home Committee also intends to lend a hand to the Barnados, one of RIBI’s preferred charities for the year.
